winterfalcon Promptathon! This is a permanently-running challenge where anyone can leave a prompt and/or fill a prompt. All genres, universes, etc, are welcome, as long as the prompt focuses in some way on Sam and Bucky (this also includes gen prompts and fills). Prompts and fills don't have to be fic -- any type of fanwork is welcome.
To Leave a Prompt: Simply comment on this entry with your prompt. This can be an idea, a picture, a video, etc.
To Fill a Prompt: Just reply to the prompt with your fill (this can be the whole work or a link to it, if you've decided to post it elsewhere). There's no restrictions on how short or how long fills can be, and you can fill as many prompts as you want. Multiple people can also fill the same prompt.
As this is our first challenge, I think it will be best to decide on additional rules (e.g., tagging, formatting) as we go along -- please feel free to make any suggestions in the Promptathon Questions/Suggestions thread or to add a comment in the Community Suggestions post.

Over at disneyplusshows they made this amusing graphic and have an open post to prompt for any media (fic, art, playlists, etc) for any character or pairing from the show. Go drop some bunnies and you never know what'll happen!

Falcon and Winter Soldier - release update
Falcon and Winter Soldier will be premiering in August which will be an awfully nice birthday present to me! The link also has some casting news if you are/aren't into that.
In comics news, you can get a preview of Falcon and Winter Soldier #1 here Written by Derek Landy with art by Federico Vicentini, the first issue of the five-issue series hits comic shops on Wednesday, February 26. Let me just reassure you that Alpine the cat is still hanging out with our favorite metal popsicle.
I'll be attempting to make icons at some point, but if you'd like to request a certain panel please feel free to drop a comment!
If you're on tumblr and want all the updates about the filming process falconwintersoldierupdates has you covered, though if anything catches my eye I'll try to point it out here.
Anyone else seen anything that has you excited?

some recent fic recs
so today over at snowflake_challenge the task is to rec some fanworks, and I thought I'd share some recent(ish) Sam/Bucky things I've read.
I like how chill Bucky is and how somehow Sam is still vaguely irritated but totally on board with this first time.

Hawkeye: Freefall featuring Bucky and Sam
Howdy all! Or y'know anyone who accidentally trips over this post!
In comics news, Sam and Bucky are getting involved with Clint in Hawkeye: Freefall, the first issue of which is out now and the second one on Jan 29th. I don't know the first thing about comics Clint except that he's real different than MCU Clint, but I love the artwork here. It's by Otto Schmidt, and you can find their stuff here on twitter.
If you want to find out more about this series lookit here for a trailer and some thoughts from the creators. Basically, there's a new Ronin causing havoc, Bucky and Sam think it's Clint, Clint thinks it's not funny anymore.
Obviously, I'm here to talk about Bucky and Sam, who have some pretty good character design. Sam's uniform is on point.

Hello everyone, I have a quick question for this comm's members. As I'm in the process of setting it up, I was wondering what (if anything) you'd like to see transferred from the Imzy comm. I have everything backed up, but I'd like to know what you'd prefer me to repost: all entries (backdated)? Just a selection of entries (e.g., the comics posts)?
